Is It Wrong to Date a Friend's Ex?

Honestly depends on how long ago it ended and how serious it was. A 2-week situationship from 3 years ago is not the same as a 2-year relationship from last year.

This is the most reasonable take I've seen on this. Context matters more than the rule.

It's a hard no for me. Friend groups get messy and somebody always ends up losing a friendship over it.

The real question is why are you even attracted to your friend's ex in the first place. That conversation never happens.
